Ali Zafar heads to Canada

While Coke Studio continues to run on airwaves with Ali Zafar shining after his magnificent performance of ‘Dastaan-e-Ishq’ this year, the pop star is en route to Canada for a show.

Meanwhile the debate over Ali Zafar switching brands – he has moved from Telenor to Mobilink Jazz – has led to a general wondering about what happened. Ali begs to differ.

Clearing the air, Ali Zafar’s manager, Sarfaraz Niazi stated, “There seems to be a bit of debate and shock regarding Ali Zafar shifting to another brand of telecom suddenly and its parameters. Ali Zafar had shared a mutually beneficial relationship with Telenor for three years but chose to move on to Mobilink only after his contract had expired with Telenor. Ali believes in working very professionally and giving his 100 per cent to whatever he’s appointed to do. Same shall be the case with Jazz. We plan to take it to the next level as we’re comfortable with the entire team .We had informed Telenor of our shift and since we’d shared a good relationship with them in the past they understood and wished us well. Similarly we wish the company all the best in future. ”

And there is the mystery resolved. So while the pop prince puts Canadians under a spell, watch out for him at Coke Studio later this week for another spanking performance.
