Strings to Perform in “South Asian Bands Festival” 11th December, 09

South-asian-bands-festivalThe South Asian Bands Festival – organized by the Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India and Seher, is a one-of-it’s-kind festival for bonding India with its neighbours, keeping the youth in mind. First held in 2007, when India was the chair of SAARC, the festival invited popular bands from South Asian Countries like Pakistan, Afghanistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka amongst others.

It will be a 3 day long festival with crowd of 20,000 for each day. The interesting part is the inclusion of bands from Afghanistan.

Following musician’s will be playing, among which Strings will be the only Pakistani band:
