Rahat Fateh Ali Khan Wins Apsara Award for “Best Playback Singer”

Rahat Fateh Ali KhanMumbai, Jan 12: Evergreen singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan ruled Bollywood’s music scene in 2010 for which he has already won the “Best Playback Singer” award for his hit single “Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Jee” at the 17th Star Screen Awards which were held on the 6th of January, 2011.

The new year has started quite well for Rahat as he recently won another “Best Playback Singer” trophy at the 6th Apsara Film & Television Producers Guild Awards for the song “Tere Mast Mast Do Nain” from the biggest bollywood grosser of 2010, “Dabangg”. The song was also amongst the most downloaded songs in India on cellphones last year, says a survey done by cellular service provider, Airtel and ranked second.

Rahat has also been voted as the most favorite playback singer in the country and also across the border.
