Where Did We Go? A Message For Our Facebook Fans

February 27, 2011

I’ve been getting a lot of emails since last night about what happened to our Facebook fan page since it’s unavailable to the fans which were around 33,600 till last night. Since day one, we have chosen our fan page to be the tool where we connect with our visitors. That has been the place where we interact with them, get feedback, break news and what not but yes, unfortunately, it’s gone.

“Third party” has reported our page to the Facebook as the page was infringing their intellectual property. Facebook takes down the page, without verification of any intellectual copy being infringed, deletes the page and notifies us with the following message.

We have removed or disabled access to the following content that you have posted on Facebook because we received a notice from a third party that the content infringes or otherwise violates their rights:

We strongly encourage you to review the content you have posted to Facebook to make sure that you have not posted any other infringing content, as it is our policy to terminate the accounts of repeat infringers when appropriate.

We have already written to Facebook about the matter and are looking forward to the recovery of the page, which even if it does, will take at least a few days if not weeks. Meanwhile, I really miss you guys and I know some of you miss us too and to fill the gap, we can now connect on our official Twitter account or you can subscribe to our daily newsletter.
