Abdul Hameed Creator of ‘Ainak Wala Jin’ Passed Away
It’s been a very sad month as so many artists and comedians have left us. Urdu writer, Abdul Hameed, who has had written over 200 books and scripted one of the most successful TV series for kids “Ainak Wala Jin” has passed away on Friday in Lahore.
His notable works include ‘Ainak Wala Jin’ and over a 100 novels from his fantasy series by the name of “Ambar Naag Maria”. If you’re 20-something, it’s very less likely that you haven’t watched ‘Ainak Wala Jin’ in your childhood.
Hameed has spent his life delivering various creative services. He has been part of Radio Pakistan as an assistant script editor and later joined Voice of America radio network. He is also known for column writing for national newspapers.
