Strings & Zoe Viccaji Perform at Levi’s Global Store Launch (Pictures)

On Tuesday the 28th of February 2012, Levi’s® officially launched its new Global store at Dolman City Mall, Karachi. The inauguration was organized by Adnan Malik Productions (AMP) and CityFM89.

The store opening started off with much fanfare and excitement, brand ambassadors, Strings and Zoe Viccaji were present at the outlet for a public shirt signing between 6:30 pm and 8:00 pm. This was attended by the general public and there was a deluge of fans as they crowded into the store to take pictures and get autographs from their favorite stars.

The launch continued with an exclusive invite only performance by Zoe Viccaji and Strings. Celebrities and members of Karachi society were out in full force on the red carpet. Attendees included Rohail Hyatt, Saqib Malik, Q from the band JoSH, Anoushey Ashraf, Ainy Jaffri, Saima Mohsin, Shehroz Sabzwari, Alishba Yousuf and Hira Tareen.

RJ Khalid Malik from CityFM89 started off proceedings by getting the audience to do the shuffle. This was followed by Zoe Viccaji’s performance which included a variety of covers such as Florence and The Machine’s ‘Dog Days are Over’, Santana’s ‘Smooth’ as well as her original numbers.

Strings then performed some of their memorable classics which included ‘Sir kiye Pahar’ as well as their current hits such as ‘Main tuo dekhon ga’

Zoe Viccaji and Strings also delighted fans by performing their hugely successful duet version of ‘Mera Bichra Yaar’ which had been produced for the Levi’s® Originals campaign launched in 2011.
