Overload To Release New Single, ‘Jeet’ on Independence Day

July 3, 2013

OverloadOverload, the loudest band of Pakistan, is once again gearing up for another release next month. Overload is one of those bands that have always maintained their originality that is pretty much evident from their music style and even the sort of videos that they put together for their groovy tracks.

Their last release came in the form of ‘Ankahi‘ last year, that was highly appreciated and a huge hit as well. And now Overload is releasing another track with a video on the coming Independence Day which will be titled as JEET. According to the band members this track is going to reflect upon the journey of Overload who recently celebrated their 10th anniversary as a band.

The official Facebook page of Overload updated about this new project of the band, stating:

“New Video and Song by your most beloved badass band called JEET will be out on 14th August. This is for all you awesome friends, who’ve supported and loved us this past decade.”

The front man of Overload, Farhad Humayun is himself a music producer and was responsible for the production and direction of the recently concluded opening season of Pepsi Smash. So there is definitely a lot more to expect from him and Overload in the next month.

Another thing that I really liked about their last track ‘Ankahi’ was the special attention that they gave to the lyrics of the song which had so much meaning to it. And they once again promise you a track with an even richer Urdu.

“Remember to play it loud and refresh your Urdu because it’s going to be in ‘real’ Urdu! Be proud of your language. Be proud of who you are!”

There is a lot of musical stuff that comes out on 14th of August but with the track record that Overload has from past, they are surely expected to stand out from the rest of the lot. Cheers!
