The much-awaited Ali Zafar, Katrina Kaif and Imran Khan starrer Mere Brother Ki Dulhan from Yash Raj Films is now complete. The film which is completely shot in India is a musical romantic-comedy set around a love triangle. It is a fun-filled film for the entire family and revolves around two brothers, Imran Khan and Ali Zafar. Imran Khan plays a character who falls in love with his brother’s fiancé (Katrina Kaif) whereas Ali Zafar’s character in the movie is supposed to be suave (sophisticated charming gentleman) but funny suave, and a confused playboy, who is a bit confused about what he wants from life. He plays a flamboyant guy, who is a little loud, and is over-the-top. John Abraham also agreed to do cameo in the laugh riot.
Ali Zafar, who shot to fame in Bollywood with his debut film, ‘Tere Bin Laden‘, is looking forward to a longer innings in Indian film industry and aspires to do two-three films a year.
Ali Zafar told PTI in an interview,
“I am very comfortable in Bollywood now. I am looking for a longer innings in Bollywood. I am looking forward for my journey in this industry. I would do two-three films a year. Since my first film has done well, people have some expectations from me. I don’t want to disappoint them and would do my best.”
There is already a buzz that Ali has been signed for Aditya Chopra’s Dhoom 3 and David Dhawan‘s Chashme Baddoor. But Ali chose to remain tight-lipped about the speculation.
It has come to our attention that the Prince of Pop, Ali Zafar will soon play a key role in Dhoom:3, the third installment of the Indian action film series, which is being produced by Yash Raj Films.
Rumour has it that Aditya Chopra, the producer of the film has been so impressed by Ali Zafar who is currently working in his movie Mere Brother Ki Dulhan opposite Katrina Kaif that a possibility has risen that he will cast Ali in a key role in Dhoom:3, reports TOI.
Ali, whose Tere Bin Laden, scored overwhelming response has at least read 40 scripts post his debut film success in Bollywood. Rumour also has it that Ali Zafar has become very pally with Aditya Chopra and considers him a guide in Tinseltown.
Dhoom 3 which will be directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya (Victor), will feature Aamir Khan playing a negative character while Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will reprise their previous roles.
