5 Minutes with Rahim Saranjam Khan [Interview]

We sat down with Rahim Saranjam Khan who recently performed a session for Ufone Uth Records 2.0 and talked about his work, experience with Ufone Uth Records and possible future endeavors.

Q) How did you begin? How do you define your sound?

A) I began playing the guitar 12 years ago when I was in school. My sound is a mixture of rock, blues, Indian classical and jazz. I am still trying to perfect it.

Hailing from the highlands of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Rahim Saranjam Khan is a self-taught musician who plays the guitar, piano, harmonium and the melodeon. As the founding member and vocalist of the band JUM and as a vocalist for the band Above.
