Yasir Jaswal, the former lead vocalist of an Islamabad based ‘Irtaash‘ has now joined Call The Band. Mr Jaswal’s inclusion in the band means that Call has now got a new vocalist after they announced the exit of earlier lead vocalist Junaid Khan almost a year back.
Junaid Khan has signed a new project titled ‘Kabhi Gumaan Kabhi Yaqeen’. It stars Arij Fatima and Neelam Munir as the two leading ladies. Written by Ms. Aliya Bukhari and directed by Shaqq for 7th Sky Productions. Take a look at the photos from the sets below.

Human beings are very unpredictable creatures and their liking and disliking can change at any time. Perhaps this is where the beauty and the versatility of the man lie. And it’s the human nature to keep on evolving with time but our surroundings do play an important role in defining ourselves.
The question that arises here: Is the music industry getting too stagnant to be in or it’s just the glitz and glamour of drama world that is attracting every other musician to join acting?
Here we will try to look at some of the factors that affect the musicians to leave their childhood passion and turn into actors.
After a long wait and multiple delays, Junaid Khan has finally released his much awaited single “Keh Do“. And this turns out to be officially his first musical project after he parted ways with Call band.
Junaid rose to fame with his rock and real edgy style of singing with Call. They had a pretty successful stint together but like all other bands in the recent times, following the trend, Junaid decided to quit the band last year to mainly focus on his acting career and releasing solo singles around the same time.

Sadly another music band of Pakistan bites the dust as it is official now that Junaid Khan has left the Call band. Although not many people will be surprised by this news because Junaid is already seen busy with his solo projects for quite some time now, so this was pretty much inevitable. But then this is how it goes on here and every good thing has end to it. However, the master mind behind Call, Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan a.k.a Xulfi is really upbeat about the future of the band and promises an even better Call after the lead vocalist walking away.
Call re-emerged on the Pakistani music scene almost a decade ago. They have some huge hits to their credit such as Pukaar, Shayad, Laaree Chootee, Aasman, Hum Se Hai Zamana.
Like every year, the number of concerts happening around really springs up as the weather tends to get cold. And same is the case this time as you would see a lot of concert posters taking on the walls of the city and of course Facebook.
Out of all these live performances lined up for this winter, the most notable is of Call the band, and the story just doesn’t end up here as they will be featuring Mustafa Zahid from Roxen as the guest vocalist.
Earlier they had performed with Mustafa on the lead vocals in Risalpur some weeks ago but this would be the first time that both the heavy weights will be performing together in their home ground i.e. Lahore.
Xulfi, who is the main driving force behind Call, is a long time friend of Mustafa and really helped the Roxen boys when they were in process of producing their first album Roxen-e-Dewar.
The musician-turned-actor, Junaid Khan is back in the lime light as he has announced releasing yet another solo track named “Keh Do”. Earlier on he had been engaged in some acting stuff and has also released a solo English single. But this time it will be an Urdu one and perhaps the more exciting thing about this track is that it will be featuring none other than Brian O’ Connell of the Junoon fame who will be seen playing the bass guitars in the song.
