AzadFilm Company & Mandviwalla Entertainment Presents ‘MOOR‘.
‘MOOR’ follows the tragic story a family pulled apart through corruption and circumstances out of their control. It is a film written and directed by Jami based on the decline of railway system in Pakistan. MOOR is a Pushto word which means mother in Pashto Language.
Few days back we reported about the ace video director Jami busy with his directorial debut as a film-maker. One of those movies has been renamed and is now titled as Moor (previously titled as Morqaye). With the recent updates that we have received about the project, it seems that it is going to hit the cinemas very soon.
The film is presented by Azaad films and Mandviwalla Entertainment, and the script has been written by Nazira Ali who also happens to be the wife of director and producer of the project, Jami. With the name of Jami attached to it, the content of movie is surely expected to have a lot of weight to it.
Quality is once again expected to make a comeback to the Pakistani cinemas as there are numerous commercial and feature films lined up for release in the near future that are certainly expected to create ripples in almost dead waters of the Pakistani film industry.
Earlier this year, we saw the release of two films that attracted quite a lot of audience despite their low budget and unknown faces.
