Asifa and Nabeel’s show opened with the title song of popular Pakistani television serial “Humsafar” sung live by musician Quratulain Balouch (QB), which was followed by another live musical performance by singer Bilal Khan. The show concluded with another song by QB.

Canadian-Pakistani band “Josh” performed live for Sara Rohale Asghar performing a medley of their popular songs. Meesha Shafi also walked the ramp for Sara Rohale Asghar, Rouge and Ali Xeeshan.

Brand New video for S.I.N.G (Songs Inspired by the Need to Give) by JoSH. This charity project will donate all proceeds to victims effected by natural disasters all over the world. Inspired by the floods that hit Pakistan, the project aims to help people all over the world.

JoSH’s ‘Beyond Kismat’ set to release on May 15th worldwide

The band that showcases both modern and traditional bhangra beats and music, is now back to rock you again with its highly anticipated fourth studio album, “Beyond Kismat”. JoSH started working on its fourth studio album almost about 12 months ago and is now ready to showcase it to the world.

JoSH is known for selling over 2 million records till date and now looks forward to release another studio album which is scheduled to come out on 15th of May.

JoSH hasn’t released much information on its upcoming album hence little is known. “Pyar Ho Gaya” will be the first video from the album to come out

JoSH Lead Singer Qurram Hussain Gets Married

JoSH lead singer Qurram Hussain, often called “Q”, is a Canadian musician of Pakistani descent. He married a Canadian national, Saima Chaudhry in Toronto, Canada, reports Daily Times.

JoSH manger Taha Sadaqat recently released a press statement.

“Since the band is busy in recordings for their upcoming album, titled ‘Beyond Kismat’, Q has planned two grand receptions after the album release.”

There will be two grand receptions, one in Toronto and another in Karachi for their Pakistani friends and fans. Like Q, his wife Saima Chaudhry is also a Pakistani, born and raised in Canada. However, Q’s roots go back to Karachi and Saima’s roots go back to Lahore.

Coke Studio Welcomes Indian Singer “Rabbi Shergill”

Rabbi Shergill to be featured in Coke Studio Season 4Indian Express, an Indian newspaper group claims that Indian singer “Rabbi Shergill” will be part of Pakistan’s biggest live music show, Coke Studio.

The highly successful Pakistani TV show will feature Rabbi Shergill, an Indian musician well known for his chart-topper song of 2005, “Bulla Ki Jaana” which was based on the poetry of 18th century Muslim Sufi mystic Baba Bulleh Shah. His music has been described as semi-Sufi semi-folksy kind of music with a lot of Western arrangements.

The newspaper claims,

“The singer (Rabbi) flew to Pakistan on Saturday for about a week for what would be the first Indo-Pak collaboration by Coke Studio. The bid to get Rabbi to be a part of the fourth season started late last year.”

JoSH to ‘S.I.N.G’ for Pakistan

JoSH to raise funds for Pakistan through a song ‘S.I.N.G’

It is the greatest national disaster this nation has ever faced and in the light of this recent disaster to strike Pakistan, musicians have quickly started to mobilise their efforts to try and help those in need.

JoSH is one of those bands who are planning to raise funds for the flood affectees in Pakistan through a charity single.

“The song is complete – it’s called S.I.N.G – to be released in North America very soon”, says JoSH.

The song will be in English and according to JoSH it will lift your spirits and break your heart at the same time.

“We have recorded an incredible new English track called S.I.N.G – SINGING INSPIRED by the NEED to GIVE. Raising funds for Pakistan and other countries in need”, says Rup Magon on his twitter account.

JoSH has recorded the song with a Canadian R&B singer-songwriter and record producer Pranam “Chin” Injeti (best known as a vocalist for the 1990s R&B group Bass is Base) to save and support the Pakistani flood victims.
