When Metal music in the Middle East Is mentioned, it normally brings surprise and disbelief. Little do people know, the Middle East has a growing scene of music. Not the usual Bollywood, but Metal.
A roster named Metal Asia are working on bringing out one of the best compilations coming out of the Asia Region to support the metal scene and metal bands from the Middle East including the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

In the lower depths of Pakistan, heavy metal continues to thrive. The band ReVolt, seems new to the scene, and brings with it a new wave of brutal music to shatter eardrums in delight.
The band compromises of Saiban Khaliq and Osama Aleem on vocals and guitars, Bilal Nizami on bass and Meheryar Ali Khan on drums. The man behind the production is Wijdan Khaliq. ReVolt brings together these innocent looking musicians and turns them into the metalheads that come out to play, brutally.
ReVolt released their self-titled debut album Revolt on the 18th of November 2009, through a record label originating from Bangladesh. It will be released in many countries including Pakistan aswell. Metal reaching far and wide. Take that Bollywood.
