Atif Aslam to be in Coke Studio with Guns N’ Roses (Update)

Atif Aslam will soon start shooting for a three-month-long musical reality TV show, Sur Kshetra, where he will be captaining the Pakistani singers and Indian singer Himesh Reshammiya will captain the Indian side. The show will be shot in Dubai and will most likely go on air early next year.

Apart from this show, Atif will also be jamming with ex-members of American rock band, Guns N’ Roses, for the Coke Studio sessions. Right now, we’re unsure whether he will perform for the Pakistani version of the show or the Indian.

Flood Relief Concert at Kuch Khaas – October 2011 (Concert Videos)

IPAC Sindhi folk artists and Quratulain Baloch (QB) rocked the show along with Arieb Azhar and Yasir & Jawad. This fund raising concert was organised by IPAC, Juvenile Dignitaries, Sonic Peacemakers and Kuch Khaas to support the flood relief efforts of Comprehensive Disaster Response Services (CDRS). Arieb Azhar, QB, Yasir & Jawad, Todd Shea & Other Artists at Kuch Khaas (Concert Pictures)

IPAC folk artists Iqbal Baloch, Amb Jogi and Mai Nimani group rocked the show along with Todd Shea, Quratulain Baloch (QB), Arieb Azhar and Yasir & Jawad.

IPAC, Juvenile Dignitaries, Sonic Peacemakers and Kuch Khaas organized this fund raising concert to support the flood relief efforts of Comprehensive Disaster Response Services (CDRS). Since the end of September, CDRS has been working to provide free medical treatment and medical supplies to the flood victims in all the affected areas of Sindh. Atif Aslam To Perform With Ex Members of GnR To Pay Tribute To 9/11 Victims

Atif Aslam is all set to use his voice to pay tribute to the victims of September 11th, 2001. Atif, who shot up during the same period, will be performing a gig for a charity benefit at an indoor theatre in Times Square in New York City with the former members of the American hard rock band Guns N’ Roses. This will be the first time that all artists of the ‘Pakistan America Peace Through Music Project‘ will be performing together.
