Music is a universal language. It speaks across geographies, across cultures. With music, nothing is lost in translation. Based on this inspiring thought this year two Pakistani singers, Atif Aslam & Rahat Fateh Ali Khan have been nominated under the same category of the ‘Best Playback Singer (Male)‘ at the Global Indian Music Awards (GIMA) which are considered to be the biggest music awards of India. Rahat has been nominated for two of his songs, Dil To Bachcha Hai from the film Ishqiya and for Sajdaa from My Name Is Khan whereas Atif has only been nominated for one song, Tu Jaane Na from the film Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani.
