JoSH Lead Singer Qurram Hussain Gets Married

March 4, 2011

JoSH lead singer Qurram Hussain, often called “Q”, is a Canadian musician of Pakistani descent. He married a Canadian national, Saima Chaudhry in Toronto, Canada, reports Daily Times.

JoSH manger Taha Sadaqat recently released a press statement.

“Since the band is busy in recordings for their upcoming album, titled ‘Beyond Kismat’, Q has planned two grand receptions after the album release.”

There will be two grand receptions, one in Toronto and another in Karachi for their Pakistani friends and fans. Like Q, his wife Saima Chaudhry is also a Pakistani, born and raised in Canada. However, Q’s roots go back to Karachi and Saima’s roots go back to Lahore.

Talking about the marriage ceremony, Sadaqat said it was a small intimate affair and only close family and friends were invited. Band mate Rup (Rupinder Magon) was also present at the ceremony and extended his best wishes to the couple. Both Q and Saima were dressed traditionally on the occasion, said Sadaqat.

Talking about Q, Saima said,

“The best thing about Q is that he is a very loving and polite person and cares for his family and friends a lot.”
