In assistance with USAID’s programme “FIRMS project” rock-chick fashionista, Meesha Shafi has recently recorded a song to promote and support tourism in Swat. According to tourswat.com, “the music captures the beauty and spirit of Swat and has a rustic yet energetic feel to it. The shooting for the video that will accompany the song is also complete, and will be released soon after the requisite editing and mixing.”
The music video will help Swat re-establish itself as a safe, welcoming, and viable tourist destination.
