Quality is once again expected to make a comeback to the Pakistani cinemas as there are numerous commercial and feature films lined up for release in the near future that are certainly expected to create ripples in almost dead waters of the Pakistani film industry.
Earlier this year, we saw the release of two films that attracted quite a lot of audience despite their low budget and unknown faces.
Synopsis: A gang of fun-loving hooligans or, ‘Jinnah Boys’, find themselves in trouble when they cross paths with a small-time gangster from the other side of the tracks. In cinemas this October.

“Pindi Express” is the official soundtrack for ‘Gol Chakkar‘, an upcoming feature film by Shahbaz Shigri and Aisha Linnea Akhtar. The song is produced by Original B-Man and also features additional vocals by Usman Mukhtar in character as ‘Shera’. Song Details: This is the second single off “The Mushroom Cloud Effect” which comes out in 2012; it’s produced by DJ SOLO of Soul Assassins and also the soundtrack for “Gol Chakkar” – Shahbaz & Aisha’s upcoming feature film.
Adil Omar‘s “Paki Rambo” music video shoot, the 2nd single off his debut album “The Mushroom Cloud Effect“. The song has been produced by DJ Solo of Soul Assassins and the video has been directed by Shahbaz Shigri and Aisha Linnea Akhtar.
It is said that former Pakistan pace bowler Shoaib Akhtar was also meant to be in Adil’s music video but their schedules clashed and it didn’t end up happening.
The song is also said to be a part of an upcoming Pakistani feature film Gol Chakkar‘s soundtrack.

InCahoots Films has released six character posters that reveals the laundas of Gol Chakkar. Pakistan’s only hardcore rapper, Adil Omar‘s debut studio album, “The Mushroom Cloud Effect” is in full effect. Adil is working and collaborating with as many international producers and rappers as he can to make his debut special. He recently announced that underground rapper and producer Apathy will be part of his album. The song he produced is called “Go Outside” and is conceptually one of the most powerful and haunting things Adil has done.
“Honored to have underground heavyweight Apathy as part of my album. Not only is he one of the best rappers out today, he’s also a very underrated producer as well. He produced a track called “Go Outside” for The Mushroom Cloud Effect which I’m having chills writing. This is one of my most haunting and powerful yet!”
The Mushroom Cloud Effect got even more exciting when Adil announced his collaboration with the “hip-hop godfather”, Kool G Rap.
Synopsis: Candy bhai is back, but he’s not alone this time. Now we meet his real friends and even his little nephew, Teddy. What might be an ordinary day in Jinnah Market spirals out of control when the gang heads over to Pindi, a place where Candy’s antics are much less appreciated. The boys have stepped on the wrong toes this time, the toes of men; the paws, of Shera.
