On September 12th, the band returned from Colombo, Sri Lanka after completing the video shoot for the song “Dilwalo Khelo Tum” – the official T20 World Cup 2012 song for PEPSI Pakistan. Noori in collaboration with Walter Advertising have co-produced the music for this video.
In the words of the band:
By Ahmad Uzair
Pepsi Pakistan has always been closely associated with both cricket and music of our country, at times uniting both of them together. This time, as we all know the t20 Cricket World Cup is just around the corner so Pepsi have successfully managed to rope in pop music veterans ‘Noori’ to sing their official song for the event.
On the first anniversary of the Official Video, the band releases a studio jam version of the song. Competitions also underway; winners to receive ‘Jhoom Lay‘ giveaways. For further updates, visit noori Facebook page.

Noori are back. And returning with a comeback to the mainstream after a prolonged hiatus with this mellow but rocking number, “Jhoom Lay”. With great vocals as expected, catchy choruses and a deep concept, this song will keep fans busy for a long time. But its not just an ordinary song, it’s a jingle for Cornetto, with a brand new video releasing alongside it.
After a slight moment of despair, I thought of Cornetto’s being flashed around the screen to make sales as I pressed play. But the not-so-often appearances allowed me to enjoy the song. The released video is an entertaining moment, packed with energy and style, with an exceptional story to keep us occupied while Noori rock out. But what am I supposed to like? Noori or Cornetto?
