Inspired by the song originally sung by Zahida Parveen, the lyrics were re-written by Shafqat Amanat Ali to suit his composition for his second album ‘Kyun Dooriyan‘.

Sneak Peek from the first episode of Coke Studio @ MTV (India). Shafqat Amanat Ali being the main artist will be collaborating with Bollywood singer Shruti Pathak and Pankhi at the opening session of Coke Studio India which starts 17th June, Friday, 7:00PM only on MTV India.

It should be safe to say that Coke Studio has become a cult not only in Pakistan but around the world. India has had keen interest in the Coke Studio which is why they planned a performing art collaboration. Interestingly, this season also has to offer a few Indian musicians like Kailash Kher and Rabbi Shergill.
Coke Studio is set to launch in India in collaboration with MTV which allegedly has the official rights to air the Coke Studio India content, and it will be called “Coke Studio @ MTV”.
