Rahat Fateh Ali Khan Wins Best Playback Singer Award at 56th Filmfare Awards 2011

Last night Rahat Fateh Ali Khan won the award for the Best Playback Singer (Male) at the 56th Filmfare Awards 2011 where he was not the only Pakistani musician nominated as Shafqat Amanat Ali and Adnan Sami were also nominated.

This is Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s second Best Playback Singer award for his hit single “Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Jee” and fourth of the year as he previously won Best Playback Singer awards for Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Jee, Tere Mast Mast Do Nain and Sajda at the 17th Star Screen Awards, 6th Apsara Film & Television Producers Guild Awards & Mirchi Music Awards 2010.

The evergreen singer truly ruled Bollywood’s music scene in 2010.
